Crystal Altar : How to

Making a crystal altar is very simple and very beneficial!

Living in California for 3 years, I gathered quite the collection. Since moving back to Chicago I haven't really found a shop that I am in love with, a new one just opened though and I am super excited to check it out.

I am hesitant to order online because I go by the premise that when you pick them out, you chose the one 'calling' to you and that exact moment. You walk up, look down at the table, and the first one your are drawn to is usually what you need. So you can see how this could be a challenge online. If I'm doing any sort of healing routine and I need one for the program, that's usually the only time I order it.

When setting up your altar, you want a central point. Then everything else projects off of it. The rose quartz double ended wand has energy traveling in and out of it, so I put that in front of my yoga mat when I practice. The clear wand to the left of it is to cleanse the other crystals, so I always center it on my altar.

The crystal in the front right, I can't remember the name, is from an under water cave, which sold me the second I heard it. I am obsessed with mermaids and this feels like a little treasure from their home! You can also write little notes and set them under certain crystals that pertain to the subject. I usually write intentions & open them to the universe.

Stay tuned for my post on cyrstal grids and using them for health, prosperity, love, and more!
