Over the weekend I had the pleasure of testing out some new (to me) vegan products! Starting off with Teese! I used it to make a mock tuna melt, inspired by the one I had in Austin last month. It turned out great; I used gluten free bread (new 'light' brown rice loaf) and the chickpea salad recipe I had posted a few weeks ago. I really like that this cheeze has way less fat compared to other vegan cheeze. For example, my favorite Daiya, the jalapeno havarti has 42g of fat in the whole wedge. Compared to Teese that has 15g in the whole package, which goes a long way!

Next up, Trader Joe's Fruit Bars, in my favorite flavor- Apple Strawberry! To preface, I have tried all of the flavors by the brand Thats It, which is based on the same only-2-fruit-ingredient concept and to be honest was not a big fan. I originally got the apple mango as a sample and loved it, so I went to their website and ordered the sample pack, thinking all the flavors would be just as good...not so much. Their apple mango is by far my favorite, however they just came out with a pineapple one that sounds good! So back to the Trader Joe's version...LOVE! I thought my preferance would be the same so naturally I picked up the apple mango, and then thought I should give the strawberry a try too. It ended up being amazing and I went back and bought 10 more. They're a great natural snack, and I like keeping them in my desk and car for 'emergency snacks.'

And another win from trusty 'ol TJ! I love horseradish, however you have to be very careful with it so that it accents a dish instead of overpowering it. And this hummus has mastered just that! It has such a unique flavor, it's my new favorite. Another plus, is that it is way lower in fat compared to regular hummus. This has 2g per serving, compared to regular around 6g. I just can't get over how amazing the flavor is.

LesserEvil's SUPER 4! I feel like that needs a superhero type announcement, and for how good they taste, it's well deserved! Seriously, these are so good! As soon as I got home (because I'm one of those rip-the-bag-open-as-soon-as-you-get-in-the-car types) I looked up the brand and was pleasantly surprised that they have other products as well! They have Chia Pop, Chia Crisps, Buddha Bowl Popcorn, and then the Super 4 line which has two other flavors, garlic and kale being one! With the popcorn involving coconut oil and himalayan sea salt, I am intrigued to test out the rest! Has anyone else fell in love with this brand like I have?!

Last up, new kitchen towels! After all of that snacking, you need something to clean up, right? I saw these and for $2 couldn't pass them up! They are so cute and I love the fabric. I got home and hung them right up!
